HEXAPURE CASTOR OIL – TikTok Competition

Terms & Conditions (12th September – 15th November 2025)

By entering the Competition, entrants signify acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Entrants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by them.

1. Eligibility

• Open only to residents of South Africa.
• Entrants must be 18 years or older at the date of entry.
• Employees, contractors, or agents of Hexapure Castor Oil, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.
• Entries that do not comply with these Terms will be disqualified.

2. How to Enter

• Follow the official TikTok account: @Hexapure_CastorOil.
• Post a TikTok video between 12th September and 15th November 2025.
• The TikTok account must be set to public.
• Entrant must have a valid email address in their bio.

The video must:

• Clearly show the entrant holding or using a Hexapure Castor Oil bottle (50ml / 100ml / 200ml) for at least 3 seconds.
• Be 30 seconds or less, filmed vertically, and in good lighting.
• Tag @Hexapure_CastorOil and include hashtag #HexapureCastorOil.
• Contain only Hexapure branding (no competitor branding).
• Align with TikTok Community Guidelines.

3. Content Restrictions

• Entries will be disqualified if they include content that is:
• False, misleading, or infringing intellectual property rights.
• Discriminatory, derogatory, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, or abusive.
• Related to political parties, figures, or organisations.
• Promoting illegal substances or activities.

4. Competition Period

• Entries will be accepted from 12th September 2025 until 23:59 on 15th November 2025.

5. Prizes

• 1st Prize R20,000
• 2nd Prize R15,000
• 3rd Prize R5,000
• Prizes are not transferable and will be paid via EFT into a valid South African bank account in the winner’s name.
• Note: Prizes may be subject to withholding tax in terms of South African tax law.

6. Winner Selection

• Winners will be chosen based on:
• Originality and creativity.
• Adherence to competition rules.
• Quality of submission (clarity, camera quality, lighting).
• Social engagement (likes and views) will be considered, but final winners will be selected and confirmed by a judging panel to ensure fairness.
• The judges’ decision is final, subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA).

7. Notification of Winners

• Winners will be contacted by email and TikTok DM within one week of the closing date.
• If a winner does not respond within 7 days, Hexapure Castor Oil reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
• Winners may be announced on Hexapure’s official TikTok account and company website.

8. Data Protection & Privacy

• By entering, entrants consent to the processing of their personal information for the purposes of administering this Competition, in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
• Personal data will not be shared with third parties except as required for prize fulfilment.

9. Disqualification Rights

• Hexapure Castor Oil reserves the right to disqualify any entry that:
• Is fraudulent, misleading, or breaches these Terms.
• Uses bots, purchased likes/views, or other manipulation tactics.
• Involves multiple accounts from the same individual.

10. Liability

• Hexapure Castor Oil accepts no responsibility for entries lost, corrupted, or delayed due to technical reasons.
• Except where liability cannot be excluded by law, Hexapure will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, injury, or damage arising from participation in the Competition or use of the prize.

11. Modification / Cancellation

• Hexapure Castor Oil reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Competition where necessary due to events beyond its reasonable control, provided that such changes are not unfair to entrants.
